IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

At Shapcott Lauber, confidentiality is not a marketing statement — it is a core part of how we operate. Our work often involves sensitive financial, operational, leadership, sales, margin, and strategic information.

For that reason, we do not disclose the names of our clients, their companies, or identifying details about the businesses we serve under any circumstances without written authorization. In today’s environment, where online hacking, data misuse, competitive exposure, and unwanted public attention are real concerns, we believe our clients’ information should remain private, protected, and known only to those directly involved in the engagement.

Many of the companies we work with are facing internal challenges that may involve profitability, cash flow, leadership structure, sales process, project execution, accountability, or operating control. Those issues are sensitive, and for competitive reasons, it is no one’s business to know what challenges a client has faced, what we uncovered, or how those issues were addressed. Clients can be assured that their company information, personal information, business documents, financial data, and internal discussions are treated with the highest level of discretion.

Our initial 90-minute business assessment is provided at no charge. Before any confidential information is reviewed or discussed in detail, we are prepared to provide our NDA, or we are happy to work under the client’s NDA if that is their preference. From there, before any larger engagement begins, we typically conduct a two- to three-day Discovery & Strategy Session for a nominal fee. This allows both sides to understand the opportunity, evaluate fit, and determine whether meaningful value can be created.

To give clients additional confidence, our Discovery & Strategy Session includes a satisfaction guarantee. If, for any reason, the client does not see meaningful benefit, value, or a clear business case after the Discovery & Strategy Session, they are not obligated to pay any professional fee or related expenses. We put that fee at risk because we believe trust should be earned early, value should be visible, and clients should feel confident before moving forward with a broader engagement.
